Description
The Primitivo grape is simply a "Danish darling" and one of our absolute favourites. Before the premiere, Massa Antico was tested by the famous reviewer Luca Maroni, who loves easy-drinking, full-bodied wines with sweetness - Result: 99 points out of a possible 99 - Luca Maroni To achieve the best result with fullness and sweetness, the grapes are first dried - hence the name Appassito. It gives a greater concentration and more flavor. Beautiful deep red colour. Delicious bouquet of dark fruits, plum and a splash of spice. The taste is juicy and powerful with lots of dark, ripe fruit. Absolutely incredibly drinkable and slightly sweet - just as the Danes love it. Long, mouth-watering finish with bold fruit. The wine is quite simply among the most easily drinkable wines we have tried. It can be used for barbecues, heavier food, good cheeses or just a cozy glass in the early hours.
