The first impression in the glass offers a deep blue-violet color which gives expectations of a wine with lots of juice and power.

The bouquet is dominated by dark berries and fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and ripe plums, followed by a hint of pepper and tobacco.

The taste reveals some of the same berries and fruits as in the bouquet, which is followed by a mouth-watering fullness and a gentle tannin structure.

Darkny Syrah is a fantastic choice for dishes with beef, lamb and grilled pork, as well as various hard cheeses.
