Description
The characteristic red wine from Antiche Terre is made from the local grape varieties Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Cabernet Sauvignon. Solo Passione simply means "pure passion" and expresses the oenologist's fondness for a unique production method in the Valpolicella valley called "appassimento". A method by which the grapes are partially dried. Appassimento gives greater complexity and natural sweetness to the wine. In terms of taste, you discover aromas of vanilla and spices wrapped in fruit notes such as blackcurrant and plum. Deep intense aroma with soft and rounded tannins, which end in a slightly sweet but fresh acidic finish. Solo Sassione goes well with stews, grilled or fried beef or pork and cheese.
